I found this English/Japanese picture dictionary online.

The pictures are small and kinda ugly, but there's a lot of them there, and for a lot of common words. This could be useful for those who are using anki and want to use pics instead of English words.
Actually, due to their small size, you could maybe even make up whole sentences out of pictures, with a few particles connecting them.

I think this is awesome, after reading about the SRS image hack on ajatt. Will be using.

I have been highly impressed by

Check out 動作語 (videos of action verbs) and 基本語彙・シンボル (images of common items) in particular.  I've found these to be pure gold, especially since the actions have a sentence describing what you see in the video.  I keep meaning to go through a lot of the common items and remove the kana from the image so I can go image -> word in Anki.

Another big deal is that (as far as I can tell) all of these are coming from a Japanese perspective.  I have other Japanese picture dictionaries where the images clearly came from an non-Japanese speaker.  For example, the family tree in that dictionary had slots for "brother" which said お兄さん、弟 under it.  Very different from my Children's J-J dictionary which shows separate entries for each.
