It's between frame 357/358, I can't find this primitive in the WWWJDIC kanji primitive search, why is that? Also when I use my computers IME pad to write the primitive it gives me nothing similar :S

I don't know about this specific one but, not all Heisig 'primitives' are official primitives/radicals. That might explain it. (But I'm not sure~)

That's because it's a primitive (which is a term defined by Heisig), rather than a radical/部首 (which is an official traditional component of a character).  The WWWJDIC search is based on radicals, although they have tinkered with the list a bit to make the components more intuitive.

You can search for the thanksgiving primitive by combining the 立 and 戈 radicals.

shaydwyrm: You're thinking of kazoo. Thanksgiving uses 土 and 戈

I personally prefer the jisho.org radical search. It has a nice AJAX interface.

Gah, I even wrote down the right kanji, then cut-and-pasted the wrong one >.<
