Hi All

I need a little help with setting up Perapera-kun

I works fine for showing definitions in web pages, but when I try to save it's output instead of getting something like:

個 こ (ctr) counter for articles and military units; individual; (P)

I get:

슌嬠놂⁝⠯瑣⥲挠畯瑮牥映牯愠瑲捩敬⁳湡⁤業楬慴祲甠楮獴‬湩楤楶畤污ਯ

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I think that program exports using shift-jis encoding, so if whatever you are putting your output in doesn't support shift-jis, it may result in that kind of problem.

I think you can configure the output format, check the options.

Anyway, since the last update Rikaichan got better than Peraperakun, so I recommend you to disable Perapera and install Rikaichan (you can't have both of them active).

Switched to Rikaichan and love it, all working great now. Thanks.

I know that's just a bunch of 文字化け ("gibberish"), but I can't help but wonder...

What on earth is this?  ਯ

Possibly another language, there's a couple Korean syllables in there too.
