Hi Fabrice

I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally hit "n" when flipping the cards over too quickly. Maybe there's a way to change user preferences for hotkeys? I'd like to use, for example "o" for "ok" and "r" for "rats I missed it." or whatever.

just a thought... back to it, I'm REAL close to the end of RtK1

Ivan

Haha for me it's sometimes the same.
Maybe a 0.5 second delay between flipping the cards and being allowed to press 'n' would solve it. But i don't know how many people actually have this problem wink

When I hit space its nowhere near hitting n (bottom half of the key below m)

I've done it a fair few times as well, its not gonna hurt you for that card to have to go through the stacks again though. So I just accept it.

My problem is that sometimes I hit Y when I should be pressing N...

The spacebar on a typical Japanese keyboard is decidedly shorter than on a western, what with all the special keys, and barely covers the 'v', 'b', 'n' keys. You could learn yourself to hit it with your left hand though.

I have never had that problem! tongue
I just hold my left hand on the keyboard while writing the character with the right.
I think the hotkeys are in ideal places!
Can't even imagine accidentally hitting the "n" right after spacebar. Have hit it while thinking about "y" and vice versa couple of times thought..

The times I hit are when I am going through reviews quickly and my hand pushes the n button almost immediately after the space. Possible due to the Japanese keyboard - hadn:t noticed that until now.

It happened to me a few times... try to not go too fast wink

You can also use "F" to flip cards, though I'm not sure that answers your problem.

Keyboard controls in a browser is a bit tricky but it's possible to offer say, the standard letters a-z for configuration. But like I said the site is in "refactoring".. do not hesitate to bring back the topic when I start updating RevTk and Trinity again.
