I took offense to your comment because most of the kids now-a-days have no idea how or what, sentence structure is, nor do they feel that it is necessary to spell out their words.  I for one support good grammar, even though I admit I have some problems.  It is only every once in a while when I get overly tired that my words will start being miswritten, other than that, I write like this most of the time.

That edit was more towards Transtic who stated "Only excuses...
So you didn't it seriously and still want to pass a translation test?
If you want to do something well, you have to put the necessary effort into it. If you don't want to do it well, you don't deserve to pass the test."

It isn't that I didn't take it seriously, I didn't have all day to read it and review it, even though I said I should have, that didn't mean I had the time to do so.  I did as fast a translation as I could with a reasonable sounding sentence.  Now, that song I translated, I spent a good 3-hours checking if every bit was correct, which is why I know it is pretty spot on.

I hate to break it to you buddy but your translation is a very good effort but it's not spot on. I don't want to dent your motivation though, keep it up! I think you could choose easier materials since that song is a strange mish-mash of English and Japanese. Please don't feel that you need to prove yourself to other members of this forum.

Personally, I'm very happy to discuss sentences/phrases/grammar points that people find confusing because I think the discussion can be beneficial to everyone. However, I'm less willing to check translation scripts for errors, particularly when the translation is a test that people are supposed to take by themselves.

Why not select the sentences that you find difficult and put them forward for discussion?

Alright, spot on wasn't really the right word, but, I did get fairly close to a proper transliteration.  There's no real way to dent my my motivation, at 16, I think I'm on the right track.  I don't know many people around me who can do anywhere close to as good as I can do, especially at my age, with only 7-years of learning.  I realize that song is a lot of gibberish, but that's the fun part.  I really, and personally, don't understand what the song is supposed to mean, but hey, I do enjoy myself.  That's why I bought the album after all!  Ah, I think this thread is pretty much closed.

Thanks to all, I passed.  Well, I am off to study more, before I actually submit any songs.

One more note, sense the passing of this test, I have taken a look at the song I previously translated, I am completely retranslating the song.  I feel that if I'm going to submit anything, I need to take more time studying it if I want nice looking transliterations.  So, I'm off!  I will probably come back to this forum if I need help, you guys were a great support in this to me.  Even the criticism helps, believe me, putting it in my face does help, I just complain, forgive me for that.
