Anybody know of a reference for the Japanese IME (in MS Word) on how to enter katakana like ディ ? I tried "di" but I get ぢ as in ちぢむ (縮む).

type "dexi"

putting x in front of something will give you the small versions of stuff

xtu → っ
xa → ぁ
xi → ぃ
xya → ゃ

etc

IME Toolbar --Tools --Help--Contents --Kana Conversion Table

There's a list for all of them there with alternatives.

There's a typo/mistake, I believe, but I don't have time to check it right now. ( I recall it was one of the sets like kya, kyo, kyu near the bottom)

Edit: Checked anyway - shouldn't gya and gyi be ぎゃ and ぎぃ (rather than ぐぁ and ぐぃ)?
