As a result of the last update, the list of failed kanji is no longer on the left side of the screen. It was replaced by a link to a separate screen that lists the failed kanji. This makes it much more time consuming to mark failed kanji as "learned." You have to click on the link, click on the kanji entry in the Failed list, and then click Learned. In the previous setup, you could click Learned and then the next unlearned item would immediately come up, so you could simply click Learned again, often without having to reposition the mouse. What used to take one click now takes three.
Could you reinstate the Failed Kanji in the left column?

Disregard: I realized after that the review and main page failed links also now take you to failed kanji list.
If I'm not mistaken, on the review page (and the main page) you can click the failed stack and cycle through stories for the failed cards, clicking learned for each. The list on the study page is to see a list of failed kanji all together. (Also, there is a greasemonkey script if you'd prefer to review the failed kanji (quiz yourself) rather than study them.)

I don't find this issue particularly worrisome, because I always open the failed kanji on a different tab on Firefox.
Previously, on the left bar I had only access to the "low-numbered" failed kanji, so I had to open the entire list manually. To avoid having to open the entire list again, I got used to open different tabs for each failed kanji. So this update hasn't make my task more time-consuming (I even think it has speeded it up, as the Top study page loads considerably faster than any kanji page, so every time I click the "learned" button, I don't have to wait so much while the site reloads.)
Slighty OFFTOPIC: I cannot open new tabs on the "my stories" section. The option doesn't appear when I right-click the kanji.

I agree (with the first couple of posters). The former behavior of the "learned" button (takes you to the next failed Kanji) made for much more efficient reviewing than the new behavior (takes you somewhere else).
What used to take one mouse click (on learned button), now takes three (learned button, click again to get to failed kanji list, click on a kanji).

It would be great if, after clicking "Learned", you were taken back to the Failed Kanji page rather than back to the main Study page. That would remove that one extra click that many people here (including myself) are finding a little tedious. It would also avoid immediately showing you the next kanji, a flaw in the old system, in my humble opinion.
Just a suggestion!

Bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch! When did everyone get so bitchy?
Listen, I agree that the Learned-button-that-sends-you-straight-to-the-next-failed-kanji thing was a nice feature, as was the failed kanji list on the left-hand column. I respectfully join those who want 'em back.
But how about showing some appreciation for the guy working FOR FREE to bring you this site in the first place? huh?
How about sendin' some lovin' Faburisu's way?
I'll start: The new My Stories pages are great! You can flip the virtual flashcard just with a mouse-over...how cool is that? Way cool!

Yeah, totally! I didn't expect to see anything like that until after Trinity was done, so this was a lovely surprise.
I also agree with what Kitakaze said... Fabrice said "Be patient, I rushed this, I'll tweak it when I get a chance.", so have a bit of faith, eh? This site is _amazing_, and *every* *last* *drop* of the code is thanks to Fabrice. The rest of the site is flawless, and I trust that once he has time, he'll investigate alternative ways to display the information on the study page.
He's not doing this and getting paid for it, folks. He's taking time out of *his* Japanese studies and *his* social life and *his* hobbies to make this vibrant community even more useful for users. If *anything*, we should all take a deep breath, and maybe even take a moment to support our friendly neighbourhood RevTK developer with more than words.
Chill, folks. This site is a gold mine, and one small change isn't worth all these angry posts.

I always review my failed kanji in random order the same as any other stack
That's interesting, and I vaguely recall reading about that elsewhere on the forum... I tend to find that I need to properly review the entire story for my failed kanji, so I try to review (or sometimes reimagine) the ones that I've failed, and then I write each one out ten times, being careful to imagine the story as I go. I find that works really well for solidifying the ones that you have totally forgotten, and it helps that it adds that little bit of written repetition (I know that that is slightly cheating what Heisig is aiming for, but my imaginative memory isn't as awesome as some other people's, so I try to get that little bit of repetition in).
For my review tonight, though... totally going to try that box 1 review. (^_^)

Updated the Change kanji font, Substitute keywords and Insert Story Links and Pictures (Firefox only) scripts to act on these new pages.
Would have loved to do the same for the Story with Line Breaks script, but unfortunately there's no (easy) way to tell where new-lines were inserted. Same as with shared stories on the study page. I could of course try and upload the relevant study pages in the background and parse those, but that seems a bit of an overkill.
The Story Links script (which will display pictures as well, better have a decent printer) remedies previously mentioned click behavior. You can click on a link and it will guide you to where it's pointing. Click outside the link and you'll be guided to the study page for that keyword.
For people that uploaded the scripts yesterday or early this morning, try anew, because I fixed a few things in the mean time.
