Is there a site where I can put a text and it highlights vocab and give translations to make easy reading like in Midori http://www.jitouch.com/midori/img/translate.png

Check out something called "Learning with text", on Benny Lewis' forum among other places.

You can just watch the vid to see if it's what you're looking for. It also has a thread around here somewhere.

It actually has some more helpful features than what your picture shows (keeps a record of words you know, and uses various colors depending on how well you know a word). You have to sign up on his site to use the version he hosts online, or you can download your own offline version (recommended, if you plan on using it long term).

One small problem is, it's not meant for Japanese. It requires spaces between the words, otherwise it can't tell them apart. But you can add those online as well, here: http://nihongo.dpwright.com/spaces/index.php . Some copy/pasting required.

Convert Kanji (漢字) and Websites to Romaji or Hiragana (and translate Japanese to English, too).
A resource for studying Japanese and kanji, improving vocabulary or reading manga & anime.
With most nihongo, the translator has an accuracy rate of about 99.5%.
