New cards have run out and I was wondering why when I realized the deck is called "Japanese Core 2000 Step 01 Listening Sentence Vocab + Images" and checking ankiweb.net shows there are 10 steps.

So before I continue, should I download the next deck (Step 02) and continue with that or should I get another deck that is more preferred by users from this site? Any suggestions about which deck is best for core 2k?

I also keep hearing about optimized 2k6k decks but I'm not sure what that means or if it would be better.
