Quick question!

Is it possible to export the vocabulary from Paperwhite's vocabulary builder thing? I don't have it yet, but Christmas. I hope someone found a way n_n

Vocabulary Builder thing? Tell me more. I have one that I haven't been using much on accounta my N7.

It must be only on the 2nd-gen Paperwhites (the new ones), right?
I haven't seen something like that on my 1st-gen one...

Could be useful on its own, but it would be especially nice if there were a way to easily transfer them to anki!

Yeah, I figured. You could just highlight the word, and then check your My Clippings.txt file for it. It's not ideal, since if you also read English books on it your English and Japanese notes will be mixed together, but it's at least something. I've been doing that since the time I still had my Kindle 3.

Just in case anyone has trouble finding them, the list is in /system/vocabulary/vocab.db
You need a SQlite software, I use SQliteman which allows me to export as csv files. Not sure if useful to anyone or not, but anyway wink
