OK, I wouldn't know how to make this if my life depended on it...but I thought it would be really cool if someone did write it.

I think it would be really cool if I could add a kind of "widget" - an automatically updated little window - to my blog and/or my facebook page that kept a running tally of how many Kanji I've added here.

Just a little automatically updated box that syncs with this site and says "User X knows ## kanji!" or "User X has studied ## kanji and can remember ##% of them" with a link pointing back here.

Yeah, granted, I just want to show off to my social circle. But it could act as free advertising for RTK.

Possible? Time consuming?

I think that's one of the things you could do with the API they're talking about in this thread.
