Does anyone have suggestions for downloading manga on the go? I have an android phone.
Edit:
I would assume if one has a 3G Kindle, you are pretty much restricted to the Amazon store as far as downloading directly to the device. Anyway, I'm hoping more for Android because then I can keep it in my pocket and read a page here a page there.
Additionally, if anyone has recommendations on what reader to use for manga on Android (or iPhone et. al. for other RTKers) and sources for where to download and/or buy whole volumes I think it'd be useful.
As usual, to our lovely new moderator team, if there is already a thread like this, please excuse me and feel free to delete.

I dislike reading manga on small screens even if the resolution is decent, so I never even considered trying it on a phone. I did however (thanks to some tips in old threads on this forum) find that an Android phone is ideally suited to reading (light) novels using the free but excellent app Vertical Text Viewer.
I'd recommend trying digital LNs even to people who usually stick to manga (they appeal to a similar audience). They're obviously much heavier on text and harder to read than manga, but to compensate there's a dictionary function (VTV lets you long-press words to look them up with a dictionary app like DroidWing or aedict or a website like alc.co.jp).
I don't think it's possible to buy LNs in this format, and if it is it's probably not gaijin-friendly. Many series can be found on Japanese P2P (I use Perfect Dark) though. The original furigana is generally included. Add 青空 to your search to get the right format. 挿絵付 in the title indicates the presence of the original illustrations (highly recommended, but not available for every series unfortunately).
You can get manga from the same source by the way, if you don't mind taking the 'free route'. The magic keyword is コミック (usually preceded by 一般 if it's non-H). They're also scattered throughout various filelocker sites, google 'raw manga scans' for a (not always up-to-date, but very large) index. As for readers, you could give ComicRack a shot -- the desktop version is excellent.
