I searched and didn't see this posted here, so thought I would submit it for general perusal. This is the site of a Japanese woman living in France who writes several times a week (in Japanese) about cross-cultural relationships, cultural differences between Japan and the West, and language learning. It's quickly become one of my favorite Japanese reads. Requires an intermediate level of Japanese, but upper beginners could muddle through with rikaikun (and learn some great vocab to boot).
