Its Summer time as you guys know. I am trying to create my own immersion on the go on my Ipod. What are some of the things you guys have on you mp3? What I have so far is some, Japanese commercials, Afro tanaka broken into parts, and some Japanese music. I am looking for some better material to bring the spice/fun back into Japanese learning I don't want it to be a chore. What are somethings that you listen to and or watch.

I have been meaning to revisit jpod101 podcasts, since I have probably skipped a level since I used to have them on my mp3 player.
I have been downloading some rajio dorama by entering japanese search queries on OneCast, listening to radio Tanba on TuneIn (they talk a lot but also play some good music), and listening to the Souseki novel I was using for Listening-Reading method that ended up being more of a listening method after I had almost finished the book a second time
I really like takada wataru if you like folky drunk poets.
I have been intending to put on some of the stuff I used to keep on my player (fujifabric, chatmonchy, quruli, coppu, japadapta and tokyo jiken mainly) but I too would like to find some new stuff.
I would suggest maybe not dwelling on Afro Tanaka too long if you want to avoid boredom. Keep taking away and adding new stuff, but not so fast that you don't engage in it. i.e. watch a movie three times in a couple of weeks while you are listening to the parts as you go around town or to the beach or whatever you do in the summer, then take away half of the tracks and add a new movie or drama etc.
Do you shadow and walk and stretch and keep your blood flowing? People seem to recommend those things. I'm often biking when I listen, I know it's dangerous so let's pretend I keep one ear open. btw, shadowing is just repeating as much of what you hear as you can, right? or am i missing something there.
