One of the most valuable features of this site ( in my opinion ) is the the reading option. I use it both as a review of the Kanji I've already learned and to improve my recognition speed. I'm trying to get to the stage where the Kanji meanings pop into my head immediately without conscious thought.
Anyway, some suggestions for improvements. The first one shouldn't be difficult. Allow users to specify a range of Kanji so that they don't spend a lot of time going over Kanji they already know thoroughly. For example I have covered the first 1300 Kanji. It would be nice if I could review the Kanji in the range 1201 to 1300 only.
In the same spirit but I am sure not so easy to do. It would be nice to be able to specify that you don't want very common Kanji to be highlighted - the 100 most common, 200 most common etc. Being able to do this would allow the user to concentrate on and learn the rarer Kanji.
This being my first post, I'd like to thank Fabrice for what I think is a truly wonderful site. He has made Heisig's book so much easier to use.
