Howdy all - been awhile!

Getting back into 日本語の勉強 - used to be a regular here but then dropped the ball for a few years - but I'm getting back on it!

Just wanted some recommendations for some good Dorama to grab from D-addicts. Some of my favorites from past times include Nodame Cantabile, Orange Days, GTO, Jin and Nobuta wo Produce (to name just a few).  A little Cheese is ok - just want something fun and interesting - really anything goes! Bonus points for ones that have both 英語 and 日本語 subs...but not a strict requirement!

Also - if anyone can point me to a good Korean show I'd be grateful...

ありがとうございます!

Try "Rich Man Poor Woman".
It has Oguri Shun. He played "Hanazawa Rui" in the "Hana Yori Dango" j-drama.

Some others:
Legal High (wacky law comedy)
Sprout (high school romance)
Boys on The Run (perverted comedy)

The english subs for Sprout were a bitch to get. But I thought it was worth it.

For Korean drama, I'd definitely recommend "Heartstrings" (sometimes it's also called "You've Fallen for me"). I saw it on Netflix and it was English subtitled by DramaFever.
It's the first Korean drama I've ever liked.

The lead actress won the 2012 award for Most Popular TV Drama Actress in Korea. She has that sexy curvy look a lot of Korean women have. The lead male actress is actually a Korean rock star (he plays a musician in the drama).

Ahhh - "Hanazawa Rui"  - Hana Yori Dango was the first J-dorama I ever watched and I really liked it (cheezy but good fun!), and of course the Rui character so I'll definitely check out "Rich Man Poor Woman"...as well as the other recommendations -  thanks chamcham!

I recommend mop girl, watashitachi no kyoukasho, and nobuta wo produce, and liar game.
of these nobuta and liar game have japanese subtitles out.
for mop girl and watashitachi nokyoukasho there is transcription  on a blog called doramanote.
