it was a nice game but it had some unnecessary sex (and unnecessary puzzles too) but the story was really good.

It's actually far more prevalent in games than you'd expect...
I don't know if this has been said yet (I only skimmed), but if you're looking for games with mainly sex scenes, you should search the term nukige. It's not unusual for eroge to only have one or two sex scenes per route (or in the whole game, if it's linear). Of course, such games usually have little to no story, so depending on what you want...
Oh, and Hongfire can only direct you to mods or legit ways of getting the game, they washed their hands of file sharing because of numerous notices and the expense of getting a server elsewhere is far too high. Still a good community though.
As for getting them as a download, DLsite has plenty, though I don't know if you need a Japanese card for it. In fact, most developer sites will link you to a way of purchasing a downloadable copy of the game. If you like your games 'free' then you're on your own searching them. It's far too easy to find such things for me to point out the directions.
Basically, Google is your friend (except when they're stalking you, but that's only because they love you).
If you want physical copies, be prepared to pay through your nose!
because Japan is forbidden from selling their games to overseas customers. So you have to use a middleman. I have a copy of 'Rewrite' sitting on my shelf here that says, 'For sale in Japan ONLY'. And even if I insert my DVD & install it, it doesn't play anyway, because it doesn't play on any non-japanese copy of windows.
Most all games will work with a simple change of settings. Just change you're non-Unicode settings to Japanese. I've haven't had any problems getting games to run on my computer after doing that.
If you don't want to change your settings though (I can't imagine why, not too many things are affected by it these days), you can use Applocale for a lot of things (doesn't always work, I've heard). I personally don't use that since I don't have any reason to, but if you have programs that depend on your non-Unicode settings being set for English (or whatever language), then you should try this.
You will need to do one or the other though, since VNs generally don't support Unicode.
