Is there a tool or someone out there who has figured out how to automatically mass download audio from [ http://assets.languagepod101.com/dictio … amp;kanji= ] to an Anki deck?

"Surely there is an app for that"... or should I say an Anki plugin - can't remember it's name though (and I'm away from my laptop), sorry.

Also, I seem to remember that somebody (cb?) mass downloaded the files and .ziped them somewhere.

There are some scripts here that should do the job:

I don't have a kana field but something like this 漢字[かんじ]. I guess I could edit the code to only get the part between parenthesis, but I don't know how to do that. Can anyone give me a hand?

You could export your:
漢字[かんじ]

to a text file. Edit the file, so its format is like:
漢字<tab>かんじ

And import that back to Anki.

You should just be able to grab the hiragana-only field using the {{kana:Reading}}  code in an Anki card template.

@Inny Jan, gaiaslastlaugh
I copied it to the addons folder and changed the extension to .py but it won't work, I presume because I am using Anki 2. Is there a workaround?

None that I'm aware of. I'm still on Anki 1.x.

In the end, it turns out there is an Anki 2 plugin that does the trick.

I presume the plug in can not be used for other languagepod lists (Italian for example)?

I am not sure.

I am studying Italian too but I am just grabbing their whole sentences instead, but I can see how that would be useful for you if you don't speak a romance language already.
