Most reviews in a day?

I have the habit of scanning the "members reviewing today" to see how many reviews everyone's doing.  Today someone had done 700!

So what's the most reviews anyone's ever done in a day?  Did your brain explode?

I had thought about doing every card all at once for the heck of it, but then I realized the SRS would lay dormant until that fateful day when I had 2042 orange cards...

I do reviews everytime I go on the computer. Since I am a student, I'm on the computer a lot. I'll do reviews 3 or more times a day, about 10 cards each time. I do it in the morning, afternoon and night. That's an easy 30 reviews without effort.

Well today I've done over 100 reviews because I let some failed cards pile up a few days ago, but usually its <50.

I'm often too busy to keep up daily reviews, so my cards often pile up. I think the most I ever did was about 500 over the course of a day. I actually write out the kanji on paper every time to "answer" the card so it took awhile.

Between the kanji I've learned the day before (that I leave in the "untested" stack to review the next day) and the expired I do about 100 every day. In addition to that I also "review" the ones in my failed stack usually about 10 but sometimes more when I'm having difficulties with the new kanji. I haven't had to deal with piled up cards yet as I studied every day since I started.

I made a new account and reviewd ~1021 in a single day "test" after I had reached the halfway mark.

I haven't reviewed here for a long time, but I used to review ~204 every normal day, 10%. It usually took 30-45mins.

I am pretty sure I saw someone go over 1000.

I did about 600 one day, but it was the day after I started doing RTK again after a very long break.

After that when those first cards came around again I had a week or so doing ~200 reviews a day.

Now I average about 60 per day.

After being lazy for a long time, and letting all my cards pile up in the orange stacks I decided to really go for it a month and half ago or so. So I reviewed (relearned) all the 1000 cards I already studied the past year (took me a week) and the past few weeks I've been adding about 50 new kanji a day on average. So right now I have to do a lot of reviewing. Kanji added yesterday + failed kanji + expired ones I'd say I am doing 200 to 250 a day. Now the end is near (1800 today or tomorrow).

Normally it's round 50 cards per day. Sometimes a bit more but so far it hasn't been up to 200 cards yet.

During Christmas I'll probably won't do any reviews, since I'm on a different computer and would have to type in 900+ keywords prior to reviewing.
So I'm planning to work on that orange pile by reviewing max. 150 per day; evenly distributed between the different stacks. Any additional advise?

Hmmm I'm one of those who are reviewing a lot I think! I had 5000+ reviews at RTK1 completion (on September but I'm not very sure) today I think I will pass 13000 (if the work does not stress me much!)
That's because, for those who may ask the reason, I'm only reviewing kanji by tracing them (I don't use kanji gold or JFC anymore) on a clean sheet without actually writing anything on it. I noticed that my error ratio has grown a lot especially when I'm tired (reviewing after a day spent working or studying other things is part of my personal training) but I think is the price to pay as soon you turn your attention on something else (RTKII in my case).
Now that all my efforts are on ANKI I usually review 150 - 350 kanji per day

The awesome glory of an SRS is that your review stacks get smaller and smaller over time; I used to do 300+ reviews a day back when I actually added cards, but I now only have 40-70 a day, which is much more manageable.

So far today I've reviewed 817 cards, which is not something I ever wanted to do and not something I'd ever recommend (and I'm planning on doing 50 more before the day is over, eek!)

It kind of just happened out of necessity. I used this site for stories only, and used my Anki for review. But every weekend I stay at my boyfriend's house and that was really problematic for my Anki study. I started making real life flashcards, but that was really time consuming and annoying. I tried putting Anki on my portable harddrive, but I started getting errors. So I decided to finally start actually USING the review section on this site for review, that way I can access it whether I'm at home, my boyfriend's house, or school.

And thus, I had to do 817 cards today! bah. My head does hurt.

It was a good review though! A nice way to see on paper how well I actually know what I'm supposed to 'know'
