Here you can see Chuck Norris and his wife alerting alerting people against the threats of voting Obama in the next USA presidential elections.

Chuck Norris' dire warning for America - 2012

A small snippet of his warning:

"We know you love your family, and your freedom as much as Gina and I do, and it is because of that we can no longer sit quietly or stand in the sidelines and watch our country the way of socialism, or something much worse".

Opinions?

Why should I take my cues on voting from actors, especially ones who have had so many kicks to the head?

cheesy style aside, I think he's basically right in that the US is headed in the wrong direction if obama is re-elected.

The problem as I see it is that the two major party are more alike than they are different about a lot of the really important things, and I doubt the majority of Americans are clued in enough to vote third party.

There's a lot more wrong with that video than cheesy style.

Thoughts:
- this has changed the meaning of Chuck Norris jokes forever.
- i can never respect Chuck Norris again.
- this is scary.
- i want to die.
- wait, no, i want them to die.
- ohhhhh i see!!! THIS is how they intend to convert me to the right wing. By making me hate other people so much i want to see them suffer and possibly die without medical care. The world is so much better that way...

Obama is the lesser of two evils. I don't see how Romney is even a choice, he's a total mess...

I never really understood who Chuck Norris was (perhaps because I never watched much TV before starting AJATT, besides the informational channels like The History Channel, Science Channel, etc). Apparently he's an actor who does martial arts or something?
Anyway, it's fine when actors do commercials for something, but political endorsements? And for Romney of all people?(o_0) I just can't take the video seriously.

I think he was actually a quite an impressive martial artist in his heyday.  Won lots of titles, and he was apparently the first Westerner in history to reach 8th degree black belt in tae kwon do.
Later on he starred in a cheezy TV series called Walker, Texas Ranger

I used to have a lot of respect for the guy, long before that Chuck Norris joke meme surfaced, but he's been showing himself to be a right-wing religious fanatic since the 2008 election.

I must say, I don't know if it's the exercise, plastic surgery, or a steady diet of baby's blood, but he looks incredible for someone who's 72.

Socialism and irony are quite alike in that many people throw the words around. Though very few seem to actually know what they mean it seems.

Here you can watch the famous fight scene between Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris in Way of the Dragon

AFAIK, Carlos Ray "Chuck" Norris is known for having an infinitely oversized ego, which was the origin of the "Chuck Norris facts" meme.

Check these clips from the animated series "Chuck Norris and the Karate Kommandos":

Chuck Norris Karate Kommandos opening

Chuck Norris is unstopable

Checking his Wikipedia's article, I found that he has actually done good things:

"In addition to being an actor, Chuck Norris is also a philanthropist. He is known for his contribution towards organizations such as Funds for Kids, Veteran's Administration National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans, the United Way, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation in the form of donations as well as fund-raising activities.[35]
His time with the U.S. Veterans Administration as a spokesperson, was inspired by his experience serving the United States Air Force in Korea. His objective has been to popularize the issues such as Pensions and Health care, that concern hospitalized war veterans. Due to his significant contributions, and continued patriotism, he received the Veteran of the Year award in 2001 at the American Veteran Awards.[35]
Norris also established the United Fighting Arts Federation and KickStart in 1990. As a significant part of his philanthropic contributions, the organization was formed to develop self-esteem and focus in at-risk children as a tactic to keep them away from drug-related pressure by training them in martial arts. Norris hopes that by shifting middle school and high school children's focus towards this positive and strengthening endeavour, these children will have the opportunity to build a better future for themselves.[35][36]
In 2005, Norris founded the World Combat League (WCL), a full-contact, team-based martial arts competition, of which part of the proceeds are given to his KickStart program.[35]
Additionally, Norris supports the Vijay Amritraj Foundation, which aims at bringing hope, help and healing to the defenceless and innocent victims of disease, tragedy and circumstance in India. Through his donations, he has helped the foundation support Paediatric HIV/AIDS homes in Delhi, a blind school in Karnataka, and a mission that cares for HIV/AIDS infected adults, as well as mentally ill patients in Cochin.[37]"

But then, you can see his other face:

"Norris is a Republican, and has donated more than $32,000 to Republican candidates and organizations since 1988.[38] Norris supports gun rights and ownership and is against public schools celebrating the Day of Silence, an event held annually in support of LGBT students and LGBT rights.[39]"

Draw your own conclusions.

As a last comment, check this Chuck Norris Show for a good laugh.

Anyone who still cracks Chuck Norris jokes are also the same fools who watch The Big Bang Theory. That crap isn't funny. And more on topic I feel Obama is the only correct choice this election. Am I big into politics? No. Will I vote? No. That's still how I feel though. He's not the greatest president nor is he the worst, he just is. That's way better than the ridiculous fool that Romney is.

Chuck Norris aside, The Big Bang Theory is funny.

Because I don't care. Bad reason, I know.

I guess if you like jokes that cater to the lowest common denominator and laugh tracks that are required to inform you of what's funny or not.

You might just be too familiar with everything they're talking about, but plenty of jokes fly over peoples heads I've noticed.
I've certainly watched the show with friends and had to explain some parts of why a joke was funny. I have no examples as I haven't watched it in a year or two.
Or you just hate sitcoms. Because they all pretty much use laugh tracks.

On another note, you probably should vote if you really think Romney is a a fool. Unless you live in a red state, in which case its a waste of time anyway.

I just watched this right now and it was actually quite boring.  I was expecting something more impressive from those two.

Here's Clint Eastwood, another Republican party supporting celebrity: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoqKdWY692k

America used to be about macho men protecting the rights of the weak and disadvantaged (debatable), now it's about rich old men who are either crazy (Chuck Norris) or senile (Clint Eastwood).

Senile? At the very least he makes some pretty good movies.

Yes, "senile" is what Internet political commentators commonly refer to him as whenever he enters the political arena and airs his views.

There are a few episodes I've seen that rely on ridicule and basement humor. Which is a shame, because when the show is good (usually), it's one of the smartest shows on American TV.
