Relating to the topic above,When do I need to remember keyword instead of story?

I'm almost just finish chapter2,25 kanji left, and going to go next chapter.I'm so slow these day.Just do 25 per day or lower than that but someday I didn't.I want to speed up.

Till now,I've been using story from this site.I know after 508 it'll have only keyword in  Heisig book.Is it hard to remember keyword rather than story?

Remember 50-60 kanji by using only keyword and write it in 2 hours. Possible?

Stories still exist here, on this site! The only difference is in part 3 heisig stops spoonfeeding you his own stories. But unless you're in a rush it's always better to make your own stories anyway

The keyword is the meaning of the kanji, the "label".

The parts in italics that serve as the elements of a story are "primitives." In part 3 you only get the keyword and the few primitives, in the idea that by then you're supposed to be able to make your own stories with them.

This is when the users' stories on this site are the most helpful. Making up your own stories from scratch takes a lot of time and creativity, so using the stories on the site at least to inspire you in making your own ones, or changing and personalizing the others, saves you a lot of time.

The keyword isn't necessarily one of the meanings of the kanji.  Some people change various keywords to make that more true, though.

Personally, I used the stories on this site for the vast majority of RTK. I only altered them if they didn't make sense to me. It took me 15 days to finish RTK1, and I still have great recall (92% correct).

The stories I made myself were exactly as easy to remember as outside stories, but took much longer to create.
