Been done with RTK for about 15 days and my reviews don't seem to be going down. Is this normal, do you guys have similar experiences? I think a big part of the problem is the keywords and those images are getting confused with actual Japanese words that I'm learning. So even kanji that I previously knew very well are getting failed. Anyone have advice?

I'd stop adding new cards, if you haven't already, and just work at it.  It takes a while to get going, in my experience.  My learning rate went up dramatically as I went through the book.  If the reviews are too much, you could just suspend some of the later cards, too.

Tweak the keywords: start adding a reading and/or a word. You can also add tags like 1, 2, 3... a, b, c... (sand b, loneliness 1... ). Reviews'll be going down after about a month.

I add Japanese words to my keywords, like:

Woman おんな じょ性
Salary きゅう料
Extinguish け・す
Music らく おん楽 (edit: of course, it's 音がく)
Kill ころ・す

and so on. I'm not done with RtK yet, but I have 100-200 kanji with additional Japanese "hints."

Are you using Anki?  This is normal.

This is just off the top of my head, but your reviews should start going down in about 25-30 days, and you should see dramatic drops by the time you get to 50-60 days.  But really, it's a gradual process.

from my experience, I had to fix up majority of the keywords, RTK uses weird keywords that most of the time does not represent the kanji, they use the keywords they use because they want to each keyword to be unique.

I do the same.
It works.

I'll definitely add stuff to the keywords. Thanks for the tips.
