Right now, I'm using Tae Kim's Japanese Grammar Guide to study grammar.  I'm wondering if it will be worthwhile to go through Understanding Basic Japanese Grammar after Tae Kim's guide or if it will mostly be a repeat of Kim's guide.

You should be able to supplement Tae Kim with the descriptions in UBJG. Doing the same sentences might be overkill, but the option for that is also there.

If nothing else, put the detailed definitions and descriptions on your card, but not for the purpose of answering the card. The descriptions will be there for the times you get the card wrong, but forget why. This is easy to do with Tae Kim as you can just copy and paste from his website. For UBJG, until a spreadsheet with detailed columns gets out there, you're stuck typing in the info.

Alright, thanks for the quick response. I'll probably use Tae Kim's guide as my primary resource and use UBJG as a supplement to that.

Is one of these resources better than the other or should I be alright with either one I use, or a mixture of both? I already printed off Tae Kim's guide and purchased UBJG. Maybe I should have asked this question first.
