I looked up the stroke order of 備 (1183 - equip), but the cliff primitive is written differently

Why is it different? How should I write it?

You should write it like it's shown in the second frame, but i dont think that it's a big deal if you make a mistake and write it like this 備.

Check: http://www.yamasa.cc/members/ocjs/kanji … enDocument

This one appears often as a primitive and you always write it like it's shown there. I also have problems, when some primitives have different shapes than they usually have. As for the kanji you mentioned above, i always write it this way 備, only to correct myself when kanjiinfo shows me how i should write it.

Thank you.

When is the chop-seal primitive written as マ?
Is it written like that only in 令 (and when it appears as a primitive)?
And when do you write the 3rd stroke of the meeting primitive as a drop instead of a horizontal stroke?
