Anybody have any ideas why my story for this has been reported twice? I can't see anything wrong with it, unless I've made a factual error.

It's very easy to click that report button, so people will do it for trivial things. Maybe some just thought that it was unnecessary to use the radical in that way. If you know you've got the facts right about that radical then don't let reports make you think so much as long as the story works for you.

The reports on the stories are mostly for show anyway. You can also click the report button by mistake (fairly sure I did that to at least one story), and some people will report stories that they find bad/wrong/whatever. Don't worry about it much

you introduced a new radical which is fine but maybe a couple people didn't like it because it would confuse them if they have too many pictures for the same part of the kanji. I wouldnt worry about it if it works for you then thats your first priority.

Since this thread has been refreshed I'll go ahead and admit I always wondered why most popular stories seemed to have 1 or more reports.

...aaaand the link you provided about ヰ is a fine example of people taking sexual content too far for mnemonic's sake. I found the few stories I did venture to make sexual were retained more or less with the same success as every other non-sexual story, so I don't particularly get the point of going so far.

Haha oh wow the stories on that site are so terrible. Its like all the bad shock value stories here with the shock value multiplied by 100. Also, the whole thing sounds like it was written by gamebro. 2 rad 4 me.

I think people think it's a dislike button. So two people don't like it.
