6th edition's additional kanji

#1
Hello everyone!

After having been using RTK for a few months now I decided to buy a physical copy because my eyes were tiring a lot from using the digital version. But what I realised, when I opened the book, is that the version I had been using was the 5th edition while THIS one is the 6th!

My questions then is are these additional kanji worth learning at this moment? I have already progressed to a point where I think most (perhaps all) of them have already been covered. Should I go back and study them now, or should I wait until I finish? Until then where can I find a list of what and where in the book the new kanji are?

Thank you!

This Google Docs spreadsheet compares the numbering of the 6th with previous editions.

Also there is a pdf available with all the extra kanji that appear in the 6th edition that can be downloaded from the author's web site.

Thanks for your help.

Would it be most beneficial to study them after finishing the book or should I go back and catch up on the ones I've missed?

I can't think of an important reason for saying one way is preferable.

That's understandable.

I'm just going to create a separate deck for the new ones once I finish and learn them. I've just encountered another one of them and it is counted as number 2453 in anki and on this website, but it is 917 in my book. Too much trouble really.
