I guess what I'm sort of looking for is... well, kind of like the drills we got in elementary school when the teacher would quiz our spelling by reading out vocabulary words (wow.. I just remembered there was a time I actually had to study english vocabulary way back when..lol).

I'm looking for something aside from Anki SRS. I want a drill of vocab just coming at me while I write kanji.

Anyway, um.. obviously there's no teacher to read me vocabulary so I can write down kanji, but maybe a japanese drill book or something where things are in hiragana and I have to write kanji for it. I suppose I could create my own list, but it'd be nice to have something that might drill me on things I might not have thought of..

It could be a website or a workbook ... if it exists.

If you have an iPhone, I heartily reccomend the "Japanese LS Touch" app. It does exactly what you're looking for.

There's also a "Kana LS Touch" and "Kanji LS Touch" app for Kana and Single-word Kanji respectively.

P.S. All three have an optional leitner system too.

lol.. I'm not able to read those site thought I'm sure they're good. If there is furigana that would be great but I guess that's asking for too much hehe

As I said, the Kanji one works solely with one kanji words, a little like RTK, but giving multiple meanings iirc. The Japanese one uses compound words

KanjiBox for the iPhone also does this. It presents you with kanji and prompts you via multiple choice for the correct pronunciation (written in kana). The readings are broken down by JLPT level, and include a lot of common words (6,751 total across all five levels).
