I downloaded a shared RTK deck a while ago and I've been studying it for over six months. Recently I've looked at some other RTK decks and realized that there are others that are much better than the one I'm using because they have so many extra fields and with additional information. My RTK deck is really simple. I thought in the future I am really going to want to change to one of the more detailed decks, especially as I get into more advanced levels. But I have over 6 months of study data with my current deck. Would there be any easy way to transfer the study data to a new deck?

Edit: You are using Anki, right?
You should be able to do it with the "Update" function when importing a deck. You existing cards will just be updated with the information on the extra fields.
You will probably need to play around with this to get it to work. For instance, you will have to figure out what to use as the primary key, which fields map to what, make sure your existing data doesn't get overwritten, etc. Just make sure to make a backup of your deck before you start playing around with importing.
I lost some cards once doing this, so be careful.
P.S. The RTK forums aren't usually friendly to Anki questions. You're probably better off reading through the Anki manual or asking your question here: https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgro...um/ankisrs[1-25]
