Don't think I could've done it without this site, so thanks fuaburisu and everyone else.

Congrats from me too!
It must feel nice, but remember that it was easy. The real challenge is ahead.
So start gathering extra motivation

My trend was:
1-500 1 month, 500-1000 5 months 1000-1500 1 month 1500-2042 2 weeks

500 didn't really feel like much of an accomplishment, but I have to say hitting the half-way mark feels pretty good.
Started 40 days ago and can't wait to be done with this in another 40 days (although might be slower since reviews are getting to be ~125-150 kanji a day).
I'm actually kind of enjoying this though and all I need to do if I start to lose motivation is look at my pad of graph paper and look at how much kanji I have written in this short amount of time. I'm 3/4 filled on the 9th page with about 520 kanji per page, which means I have written about 4500 kanji in a little over a month!

Woo! I was too tired last night when I finally reached frame 1021 to come and post, but now, woohoo halfway!
Early on I started being able to glance at kanji and go, "Okay, let's see I've done this one, and this one, oh and this one over here..." Although if it was on a video I'd usually only catch a few before they were off the screen. Now I'm finding that I'm looking at kanji and if it's not one I've studied I'll still think, "Aha, we've got a roof up top, a heart over here, and just some mystery primitive I haven't learned yet in between."
And whoever first thought to use Mister T for the person was a genius. He's just so flexible.
Now I need to just get back into the habit of sneaking reviews in through the whole day rather than a few early on then going, "OMG! 11 PM and Anki estimates 45 minutes of reviewing left! *KERMIT-ARM-FLAIL!*"
Congratulations and thank yous to the last few who made it recently before me, Eadwyn, cntrational, mcaruso, and oniichan. It's inspirational to see others reaching milestones too.

Just got here too. I'm trying to finish this damn thing soon (I'm enjoying it now though) so I'm spending a lot of time but I'm picking up the pace (70+- kanji a day now). Hopefully in less than a month I'll add the kanji 20XX

Halfway, again!
Round two, fight!
Hopefully I'll manage a knockout this round and I won't have to post here a third time.

From start to halfway... in just two days! 8D
Okay, I'm basically cheating since this is my 3rd run through RTK, but I mean, I'm at work and I have to do SOMETHING, right?
Also, I should of had this done in one day, but I got to 900 and got busy with other stuff and forgot.
I'm also using the site this time around instead of Anki.

Yeah, did something like that myself, second time around.
Here's to hoping those reviews don't bite you in the butt!

I haven't really posted much here but thought I'd throw my hat in the ring after completing lesson 27. I did the whole lesson in one go and have rewarded myself with a copy of Remembering the Kana (just like the person from the opening post did).

Took me 3 months, and I've finally hit the half way mark. I've kept up with it this time, and this might be the longest consistent amount of time I've stuck with it. Though, I have had to move my flashcards from here into Anki. I just like the way Anki manages SRS more, and I wasn't getting as good of retention with RtK as I was my other stuff that I had in Anki.
So at this point I've hit a wall a little bit, but I should be able to work past it now that I'm using Anki. For reference I've been studying Japanese for 6 years, and already have a JLPT 2 cert. I just want to finish Heisig finally so I can put it behind me. It's like a painful tooth I can't stop playing with.
The slow pace(for someone who knows as much Japanese as I do) is because RTK is really a back-burner thing for me right now compared to drilling sentences from Kanji in Context. For a funny comparison, my active cards in my KiC Anki deck comprise about 1300 different kanji. This is about 300 more than my Heisig deck. So there's a lot of them I can read in different compounds that I'm kind of fuzzy on the meaning of right now.

I finally hit half-way!
I started in early octobre '10, went to 880, but soon burned out due to private life reasons (yadda yadda, gibberish) and started over ~2weeks ago.
Finally, I'm back on track and seated for the finish line!
Congrats to everyone else who made it or is soon to hit half way as well.

Woo, I can finally post here! After taking a 2 1/2 month break due to school related madness, I started over from start two weeks ago and here I am. I reached 1044 last night and it feels great.
