How confusing do these things get? You come across the ambiguous ones such as "Large, pedestal, reign, warrior, poverty, etc" how do you remember which on yomi reading to use?
The ones that are currently giving the dyslexia are the kanji with the on yomi that have voiced or same phoenetic value readings. I know about the pure groups and the "almost pure groups" and all that, but still have the dyslexia.
Here is some kanji that give me the dyslexia
Yellow, warrior, large, reign, pedestal...
On my flash cards, I write the meanings and readings on the back and kanji compounds on the front. When I review the compounds, I work from the pronunciation to the kanji, where I easily can recall the main kanji of the card and normally find myself scrambling my head to recall the other kanji.
How does everyone go about recalling the other kanji, apart from the main one on the flash card? I incorporate all the compounds of the flash cards into Japanese sentences with all the compounds that make up the meaning or a sentence to hang on to it, but unsure of which grammar to use for them. I'm assuming everyone writes stories to remember the compounds, similar to what you do to remember the meaning and writing from RTK1.
