Hi, everyone.

I am looking for some japanese fonts:

1. Kyokasho-tai

2. anything "gothic horror-like" (lines like どういうこと！？ are often printed that way in mystery/murder stories…

Anyone knows a place to get something along these lines?

1. Go here and find "教科書" on the page. Lots of other good fonts there too BTW.
Note: They are all inside exe files, so if you don't want to run them, or don't have Windows, change the extension to "zip" and open it or try to open it with a [zip/rar] un-archiver program.

2. Three horror fonts (one katakana only) here. I especially like "怨霊".

Kirieji, Mofuji, and Ibaraji fonts from here have a sort of distressed look that is kind of horror-ish (especially Ibaraji).

Glad to help. In the future, http://www.fontfontfont.com is really good for free decorative fonts. That's where I found the horror fonts I linked to, years ago when I was searching for horror fonts for a project I was working on. ^^
