I wondered whether I could just "save as" and save my story pages to use (almost) exactly as I do online - but whilst offline to save my laptop's battery.

I used (the latest) Firefox browser on my Mac Book, and saved a page.
I opened it from my drive, rather than the Internet.
It functions exactly the same: The stories appear with no kanji until you "mouse over".

If you did not, then I hope that I have helped you to use your laptop offline to use the "study" - "All my Stories" section of this site.

I suggest showing 50 stories per page before you save - so you can save fewer times to complete your offline kanji review pages.
