Well I postponed for a long while this topic but I feel really in need of some advice because somehwat i'm not really budging an inch from a long time in japanese.

I started in a rush of the textbook minna no nihongo I & II after completing them in 2 months I started RTK .With this method I get grammar/words automatically reviewed because they appear more and more as you go on.

The problem comes after doing RTK a couple of months and completely forgetting the textbooks .I didn't complete RTK yet but when i came back to writing/speaking i felt that i knew some rules but started to forget wich form to use for exemple : is it used with plain form ?or TE form.I think that it wouldn't get like that if i was reviewing in ANKI.

It's been already 7 months tough and I feel stuck a little far below the N3 .

[1]-Now I don't know whether i should go on directly to something on N3 level and coming back to the rules when i need them, or spend sometime for exemple making an ANKI deck?
Tough in both cases I'd like at least starting reviewing those grammar rules in Japanese it would make me learn at the same time new things.

[2]-I planned to start on japanese corePLUS but finding myself more at ease with vocabulary from MNN chapters I'd like to know how to proceed whether or not there is a way to make tags on the deck from a list or i have to look up for the word & add a tag or just keep with an extra deck? which is a little bit overwhelming.?

1. You should definitely go for N3 material, but maybe at the same time or just before, you could do the MNN exercice books I & II (great way of reviewing)(and downloadble). Maybe it's too late to make a grammar deck of your textbooks; basic grammar will stick through use anyway. You can also get the Dictionary of Basic Japanese Grammar; someone made a shared deck of this btw (193 facts).

2. If I remember correctly, MNN vocab is basic, so a good part of it might be in the core deck: when you encounter it just pass it. If you want you can merge the two decks.

Thanks for the reply, then i will manage to go through N3 stuff while for dedicating less time to master what i've already learned so far.I heard of a book with N3 and N2 grammar in full japanese I think I will try to find out the title and continue .

How do you find yourself more at ease with the MNN terms though?

MNN is basically core2k, with little discrepancies. Some vocab from MNN can be found in the latter parts of core 6k(mostly the "extra" items), with less than 0.5% of the vocab being outside core6k (almost exclusively the culture-related vocab points).

With these two MNN books (main workbook and grammar explanations) + CDs you are getting:
- basic vocabulary with model pronunciation
- reference/extended vocabulary (no pronunciation is provided)
- explanations, that are simple, but nevertheless, of introduced grammar
- explanations of some cultural aspects (Japanese address, holidays, gifts, etc.)
- for each lesson, drill exercises of the introduced grammar - both writing and speaking drills
- readings with progressive difficulty
- listening practice with progressive in difficulty dialogues (the dialogues are simple enough that you can memorise them by heart)
- revision exercises after each 6-7 lessons

Saying that MNN = core2k is plain wrong.

I pardon my mistake in expressing myself then. I meant strictly vocab wise. The vocabulary from MNN coincides with core 2k with little exceptions, is what I meant, since OP says he was more "at ease with vocabulary from MNN chapters ". OP wasn't referring to the entire textbook material, just the terms needed for an anki deck.

Let's say I know 75% of the used words.It would be insane to get them all reviewed after 7 months after all i'm being using much of them but for the 25% not using them.
My idea was to get a quick review of the vocabulary, record those without sounds and just start listening to them?It seems more quick.As Eratik stated I should skip what I know from the deck, that would be ok so far.

I gave a glimpse at the Anki DECK Basic Dictionnary of japanese grammar I was really amazed at how it is perfectly well done.For exemple when I think about a particle you are just lost to take a review from leçon 24, leçon 40 etc ... having one reference book getting all of them for you really great.

Getting into the Basic, Intermediate, Advanced volumes seems it would take infinity tough as a reference I think that it's the best reference to have thanks Eratik.Maybe I should start another thread about how people get grammar reviewed?
Any other suggestion for advice on this rush who get me a little bit dizzy is welcome or the next step.

To me skip means pass with the highest interval; you can't lose time suspending the cards you know one by one.

For the rest, jlpt practice is jlpt practice: you get a reference book, like DOBJG or 日本語文型辞典, and a drill book, like Sô matome or Kanzen Master. DOBJG is downloadable, and the whole series has a sentence deck (8547 facts, name in Japanese). Other than that, a way to review grammar is to do grammar analysis through the understanding of native material (songs, anime, books, manga...).
