So I recently discovered that the Tae Kim's deck (at least the .cloz) came with audio files of the sentences read by something called 'NeoSpeech Misaki16' that were hidden in the deck's .media folder, but of which, none are associated with their respective sentences. I'd like to link them, but I was hoping there's a better way to do it than by hand. Anyone know of a way?

Yeah, sorry about that (I assume it's the deck I uploaded). The NeoSpeech portion was a throwback prior to iKnow and subs2srs where it was the best option to have audio for kana cards. There's no benefit for it, and likely is detrimental with the unnatural pattern. In addition, if you have Misaki or some other voice, there are plug-ins that allow on the spot reading of your cards.
If you have to associate you can export Tae Kim as a text file, open that in a spread sheet. The audio files, assuming they're not the munged filed, should be in a simple order of four groups. Use spreadsheet to quickly populate the correct collumn. Export as a text file (csv) to import into Anki.
I may be wrong, but I think Anki allows for copy/paste import now so that can be simpler.

You know, when I first found them I listened to a few and thought they sounded ok, but now that you mention it they do sound pretty unnatural. I think I'll scratch that idea after all, but thanks for the response + uploading it.
It was funny when I first found them, I thought they were recorded by an actual speaker who just had a crappy mic - was pretty stoked, until I listened to a couple and saw the tags haha.
