I have updated the Maturing Cards deck to work in Anki 2.0 now.

Note: The graphs in this release won't match the prior Anki 1.0 version. The reason is because in the prior version the code generating a graph was bit...hard to follow so I settled for doing stuff as simple as possible. In this instance this resulted in me setting the "day" to cut off at midnight. In the 2.0 version the code was easier to follow and I wanted to stick as close to Damien's style of programming so I use his code to which allows for a movable "end of the day." In this case the end of the day defaults to 4:00am. Hence, the graphs will look a bit different.

Does the plugin give any information on how many cards go from being mature to new or young (by being failed) ?
(Newly mature cards - cards that have become 'unmature' )/day might give a good guide to how many new cards one could do each day without expecting the daily workload to significantly increase or decrease over time.

No it just gives information on cards rising to mature status. I might make a seperate plugin for tracking how many cards were failed in a day, and making a graph for that. But you can see some of that info each day already.

How to use
1) Download plugin
2) Open the deck you want to see this data on
3) Open "Graphs"
4) Scroll to the bottom to see "Maturing cards"

Edit: Let me also point out, under DEFAULT settings. A failed mature card will fall to a 'young' status which is similar to "new." The only cards that are 'new' are those cards which are first seen.

I have written a new plugin and have been using it for a bit now and I think maybe some would like it. I haven't noticed any bugs on my end but I would be curious to to hear what others have to say. You can find it in the "Shared Plugins."

Disclaimer: This plugin does modify your deck, but after consulting with Damien, the changes it makes are safe for the foreseeable future. The plugin will stop working with the upcoming version of Anki 2.0.

In detail, this plugin adds a new table to the deck database and populates it from the prior review histories. It will then continue to track the stat on new reviews.

BUG: Found a bug, trying to figure out whats causing it. If you close a deck and open a new deck it creates 2 instances of the "Mature Rises" graph. Trying to figure out why. Bug Fixed! Updated on Shared Plugins.

Been using it for a few days and find it really cool and a nice way to see that progress is being made in those times when reviews per day don't seem to be going down. I can see that in 3 months time my RTK deck is going to be easy mode 5 min a day reviews which I can't wait for.

The only addition I would like has already been mentioned which is to see how many matures are failed per day.

Yep, and I've added that plugin (Failed Mature Cards) to the repository on Anki 2.0. I'm not planning to make a back-port to Anki 1.0 though since 1.0 is going to be deprecated anyway.
