I haven't seen a general link thread around here, so I'm starting one. This isn't meant as a thread of language learning links (we have one of those already), but rather general websites that you find interesting that happen to be in Japanese.

I'll go first.

2channeru and Futabachan. Two imageboards. One of them was the precursor to 4chan, but I can never seem to remember which one.

I really like the Japanese National Geographic website

If you're into reading programming/tech/startup/computery blogs, this guy has translated many fine software writings of well known people in those industries.

Agora: Interesting editorials on current events.

What about http://www.jmanga.com/ ? I subscribed one week ago. Most of the manga come with the english and japanese versions together. So first I read the japanese one, then I check the english translation. Useful and entertaining at the same time.
Especially since I'm not good enough yet to read newspaper articles and the likes...

Glad you found it useful! I really like reading sites like that too. Nikkei Business is also really good, also, there are more here which I haven't had a chance to check out yet.
