My well intentioned husband got me a kindle fire as Valentine gift to have a larger screen (I use ipod touch) to review the kanji. Nice idea but my stacks don't appear on review page. I am not tech savvy but have really gotten into this site. Do I need to send this thing back?

Thanks,
Lori

I noticed your question was never answered. I don't have a Kindle Fire but I do know that sometimes websites don't work as well on tablets, especially if they are not tailored to tablets.

It's possible there is a setting you have to turn on in order for to work properly, like javascript or something. But since I don't have one I don't know what the options are.

You could email the admin (http://kanji.koohii.com/contact) and ask if he is aware of this issue.

Good luck!

She did.

Actually Kindle Fire uses a custom browser called Silk, or something. Good Android tablets and the iPad have browsers based on WebKit which should display all websites 100% the same as on a desktop, in my experience.

Although on tablets you can get the default "mobile" view from many websites, there's usually a small link somewhere on Google sites for example, to switch back to the desktop view.

The flashcard stacks view is made with a Javascript library that makes use of SVG which is not commonly used. So I wouldn't be surprised if the Kindle Fire doesn't support it.
