I don't want to be the nitpicky naggy corrector with japanese cause i'm not fluent but I realized that the 心拍数が加速 doesn't even make sense. since it would get bigger just thinking logically. But wait, then again, I found 加速する心拍数 on the internet. I was thinking of the word through the kanji as opposed to the meaning so... that's why I thought it didn't make sense logically.
I was thinking a more natural way to say it is 脈が速くなる. I've heard 脈がない somewhere (the part in the drama where someone dies lol). I just read 心拍数 and thought... jez we're not in a hospital lol
