I am using FlashCards Deluxe for the iOS and have created my own Heisig Deck using the most popular stories on kanji.koohii.com.
Can I distribute this deck publicly if it is not for profit to save everyone the hassle of copy/pasting 2000 stories?
Thanks for your input!

There is already such a deck for anki with the top 2 stories, so it's likely not a problem. I sure hope you didn't do it manually though...

Yes it is. It's a waste of time. Time is money. Utilize your resources (this website).

There is already a RTK deck with the top two rated stories from this site. The name of the deck is- Heisigs Remember the Kanji wtop 2 co
It looks like this...
Q:Keyword
A: Kanji
Story #1
Story #2
Heisig #
It takes like 10 seconds to download it on Anki, via the shared deck search. That is what the OP is referring to. If you are just saying having a story in the answer then yes, I absolutely agree. That's what the kanji koohi deck is like.
I am saying... it is pointless and waste of time to do the following-
1) Write your own stories
2) Copy stories from this site and pasting them into the SRS (aka making your own RTK deck)
3) Any manual work, everything you need is provided in the deck. Yes I agree going between a book and the SRS sucks, I learned that after 10 cards and found the Koohii deck. I was thinking in a sense what you were saying was to write out each story yourself. I don't even use the book anymore, its my coaster now. I learn the stories and primitives by just doing the SRS and failing them right away.
The only reason I would say its beneficial to write your OWN story is when the top 2 stories aren't quite helping the kanji stick in your head so then yes make your own or find another one from this site. Although sometimes this has actually made the card worse for me, I find my own stories don't tend to stick as well as the ones I find here, even if they are bad stories.
