I recently bought a Pioneer Blu-ray (BD) player here in Japan.
But, since I'm American and Japan and North America share a BD region,
I often buy BDs on Amazon, etc and have them shipped over.
Recently I noticed that even tho the discs are "American" and only indicate
the standard set of subtitles, and dub tracks, such as Spanish and French,
many react to my Japanese BD player and enable Japanese subtitles and/or dub tracks.
Many show a modified "FBI Warning" before the disc begins in Japanese.
One recent purchase, the Matrix box set containing all 3 films on multiple discs,
even has the menu options on the screen in Japanese.
I'm wondering if anyone knows how to turn this feature off, so I can see the nav menus in English?
