Japanese Explanatory Videos For Kids?

#1
This morning, I came across a video teaching Thai to Japanese students, and was surprised to understand as much as I did. And I got thinking:

Are there videos in Japanese on the web explaining things to kids? Like, explaining science stuff like volcanos, etc? Or teaching them just about anything that I could probably follow along with?

I was going to give Khan academy as an English equivalent, but that's actually aimed at older students than I want it to.

I appreciate any links anyone can provide. Smile

National geographic has a lot of videos. Go to the japanese version of the site, then the 動画 section. I credit much of early listening ability to listening to the nature documentaries there on loop.
