Anybody know where I can get the Japanese language files for Dark Souls or Dark Souls II?

Just letting everyone know, there's a Japanese Humble Bundle this week. You can get 11 Japanese Steam games for 10 dollars. All of the games except one as far as I know are entirely in Japanese. It's worth checking out.

I noticed that Bundle a few days ago but got the impression that they were all in English. I daresay Japanese versions exist but it wasn't clear to me whether they were included in the bundle, so didn't look further.

I don't think Jombo was thorough in his check before he posted. Out the games included the following had no Japanese option:

ALLTYNEX Second
Cherry Tree High Comedy Club
Cherry Tree High I! My! Girls!
KAMUI
Reflex

Influent in turn is a language learning software. That makes 5 out of 11 games that are English only, although I feel in the case of the ALLTYNEX trilogy (ALLTYNEX Second, Reflex, KAMUI) it's not much of a loss as it's just a classic bullet hell-like space shoot 'em up. Shame about Cherry Tree High, though...

For most of the rest of the games you have to right click to open the property menu in the library and select Japanese in the language menu, otherwise it will default to downloading the English version.

I think it depends on what language you have the steam interface set to. If you have it on Japanese, you shouldn't need to do that.

This is generally true, I always get Japanese versions (if available) installed by default because I have the interface in Japanese. There are also a few titles that are only available in Japanese if your interface is in Japanese (there's no language menu option, you get whatever language your interface is set to). A very few titles have an in-game language option and those will generally default to English on the American Steam servers.
I don't know specifically about the titles in this bundle though.

Braid is available in Japanese. There's no audio (but that's in any language).
It's a game I've been meaning to play for ages and I'm so glad I finally picked it up, it's really fun and gets you thinking in new ways. As far as the Japanese go, it seems like an intermediate level (no furgiana but the language is pretty standard). There's not a lot of words in the game (couple paragraphs at the start of every chapter pretty much) but if you can get some extra Japanese practice while enjoying a really good game, why not?

Not sure if this post is being updated but FEZ has full Japanese text. The text is no too hard and adds perfectly to the atmosphere of the game

I also forgot how much fun the one liners in Borderlands 2 were.
E.g. when you are hitting on a girl she says something like "Did you see that guy with the big gun? He's my boyfriend"
Only thing is you probably need core3000 or core4000 vocab for decent understanding especially as you can't pause/replay automatic dialogues!

Heads up for anyone buying MGS5: Steam says it'll have full Japanese support (audio, text, subtitles). I might buy it for this very reason, even though I only liked 2. Might give the series another shot.
