Indeed great site - many thanks Zorlee.
Any idea how to find shows with subtitles? Those I took a peek at were without subs.
EDIT: Ahh, I meant Japanese subs of course. The idea being:
1) Your target language is Japanese, so there is little use for English. (Well, English subs are helpful if sentences are complex and grammatically difficult to parse. This however doesn't usually happen with spoken language),
2) You can pick up sentences here and there even when you don't get voice/vocab clearly,
3) If you are into shadowing then Japanese subs are great help.

if you're talking english subs. as far as i know the only show that gets subbed in english is like london herats.
if it's japanese subs. i wouldn' tknow. plus they already have lots of text on the screen
