Question - How to grade yourself after taking JLPT Sample Tests...?

#1
Hey guys,

I took a mogi-shiken, but I was wondering; How do you grade yourself? How many points are in the 言語知識 section? Which problems are worth 1 point? Which ones are worth 2 points? How about for the N1?

Anyone know how to do this?
Thanks

Read the part on the second page on Scaled Scores. Basically you can't mark yourself so just do your best and hope Smile

If you go back to the old-style pre-2010 JLPTs then you can calculate your own score on those (details), but of course the format changes mean that practice tests from that far back aren't quite so useful.

Thanks guys. This was really tricky because it looks like the Vocab and Grammar sections are now merged into 1 big section. Im guessing that the Reading questions are each 2 points, while the vocab questions are 1 point since there are about twice as many.

No, the points are on a scale. If a lot of people get a question right, it will be worth less than questions that turn out to be more difficult.
