While RevTK does take top billing in the article, I was left feeling "Is that it?"

My understanding was that MSN interviewed Fabrice when he was in Japan so I was looking forward to reading something more in depth.

That said, it is a good advertisment for Fabrice's site.

Yep, I met Mary Sisk Noguchi in Nagoya during my holidays in Japan back in April. We had the local specialty udon, and discussed all things kanji and foreigner literacy in Japan... too many things to talk about and too little time; even though we spent a good part of the afternoon!

I know there is no news for current users of the website, but I think it's a great introduction for those who haven't heard of it yet. If I understood correctly, the Japan Times also comes in print, in all Japan?

As for news, I was in a bit of a slump, didn't feel like doing any Japanese for a while, it lasted about a month. But I've been thinking of trying to put online whatever I have now for the new sentence & vocab review area. It's only halfway through where I want it, but it works well enough for reviewing sentences and vocab anyway. So I'll try to put online what I have in the coming weeks, hopefully that'll help me get back in the rhythm of things.

Regarding the reviewing sentences and vocab section, is that going to be something like the 10,000 sentences approach?

I think that would be a great help and addition to the website.

It would be cool if there was an AJATT version of RevTK. Seems simple enough:

You have upto 10000 cards that are identified only as card 1 to 10000. You "add" cards just like you would. Now, you have two areas: Kanji Sentence that shows like the keyword does for Kanji, and a translation or explanation answer section.

Now the fun part: In the study section, you can see what others have written for their "card". So if you're on Card 220, then anyone that has written a sentence for 220 and shared it you can see.

The benefit of RevTK has been the shared stories. Just wondering how that same benefit can be applied to the next area of learning Japanese.

Oh PLEASE add a leitner system for reviewing vocabulary, I have made a makeshift program to do this myself in Java but it's very buggy, if there was a leitner vocab review section here It would be the biggest push to get me remembering vocab, PLEASE!!!!!

Sorry if i sound like a raving lunatic but the review system here is so perfect that if applied to vocab I'm sure I could actually remember my vocab lists.
