Had to quit RTK at like kanji 1015 like 4 months ago because of college and haven't reviewed ever since.
What should I do? Start all over?
I had been reading some japanese though and in doing so learning quite a few onyomis and kunyomis and vocab. Also I've been asisting to my japanese classes, have a japanese exam on saturday.

Log into RevTK.
Remove all flashcards.
Add 1015 flashcards.
Review them VERY quickly (10 seconds max per card).
If they don't IMMEDIATELY pop into your head, fail the card (i.e. click "No").
DON'T make any new stories (takes too much time), just review.
If they are REALLY SIMPLE kanji (like "one", "two", "three", "person", "tree",etc),
delete the card (click on the wrench icon in the upper right of the review card and select "Delete flashcard").
Do this until you're done with your 1015 card deck.
You're now left with the cards that you really need to review.
I suggest doing this during any spare time (since it's speed reviewing, you can do
20 cards in 5 minutes or so) in short spurts. 5 minutes here. 10 minutes there.
I usually just "go by feeling". When I feel like I don't want to review, I stop IMMEDIATELY (otherwise, I'd be wasting time) and do something else. As soon as I feel like reviewing, I do it IMMEDIATELY without any thought (otherwise, I'd be wasting time).
If you can get to the point where starting and stopping your reviews is quick and automatic (i.e. a "just do it" attitude without thinking about the other things you have to do), you're good to go.
When you're done reviewing those 1015 cards, you can move on...... :-)

Yeah I think there is no reason to delete the cards if you're gonna review them anyway.

Anki lets you review in random order, order due, smallest interval first, or largest interval first. And as Splatted said, you can force a different order by unsuspending cards in batches.
Anki takes into account how overdue a card is when you review it. If you remember an overdue card, it adds a bonus to the interval.

I've been through this. In the end, I just start studying, and the pile goes away after a while. If you can spend a bit more time per day for a bit, then it goes away faster.

I have about half that, 600. I feel your pain. Not nearly as bad as 1015 though! But we'll get them done. Just do SOMETHING, don't worry too much about "how" otherwise you are just wasting time :-). Breaking it into small chunks definitely helps!

Yeah, I have more than 1,800 expired on this site. Oh well. I've come back from 1,500 or so before with Heisig, and a good 3,000 or so with vocab. Just takes a lot of time and is no fun.

As long as your knowledge (kanji, vocab whatever) is on an upward trajectory, it really doesn't matter if a 1000 or more cards of something you once studied lie dormant in a deck somewhere. The information is still in your head somewhere and can be refined and reinforced by actual use. I apparently have 2700ish expired cards on this site but I have no intention of clearing them.

Reopening the thread...
I have finished rtk1 couple years ago and wanted to start reviewing all kanji again in Heisig order. However, I want to keep all my stories and just reset the srs to beginning. How can I accomplish this?
Thanks.

Manage->Remove all cards
Manage->Add all cards
Your stories will not be erased.
