Any Frequency Word List from J-Drama?

#1
I've been looking for frequency word list generated by J-darama scripts. I've encountered other word lists generated from blogs, novels and newspaper. But I'm much more inclined to learn something more practical in spoken language. Can anyone help? Thanks!

i don't know if there are any ready made ones, but you should be able to generate your own word list from the subs / scripts + this program: http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?p...2#pid69302

Followed all the steps, submitted one folder with subtitles for a particular drama and now looking at the generated frequency list there are a couple of things I am not following.

For example
...
1 行き詰まる
1 大きなお世話
1 きれい
...

I am sure I have heard きれい at least 3 times in what I have seen so far of the program. What is that number means if not the number of times it appears in input text?.

Sometimes kirei is written using katakana or kanji. So maybe it counts キレイ、きれい、and 綺麗 separately. I've seen all 3 used in drama. I don't really know if there are any differences between them.

It is not necessarily a frequency list you are looking for, but a general wordlist for various ドラマ that I found quite useful. *please click me* Smile

Honestly, I don't know how useful a general frequency list is for drama.
Since the choice of words is very dependent on the type of drama you're watching.

So your general frequency list will be take a least common denominator approach. The general words that appear in all categories of dramas will be at the top.

I think a better approach would be to gather scripts from all the dramas that you liked and analyze them. That way, you will have a frequency list made specifically for the shows you like to watch.

Don't quote me on this.
But I think i heard that JWPCE can do some kind of frequency analysis.
