Probably Pirates of the Caribbean 1 and National Treasure 2. Granted, I liked both of those movies before I watched them in Japanese, but I think those two dubs were really well done. I guess the anime seiyuu and dub seiyuu worlds have some crossovers, because I like spotting seiyuu I know from anime in Japanese dubs. ^_^

This channel has a lot of old-school Jackie Chan/kung fu movies all dubbed in Japanese.

Watching the first season of Prison Break. It's complete unrealistic, not that I've ever been to prison, but entertaining enough to hold my attention. Pretty easy to understand at just above high intermediate level.

Priosn Break S1
Links to pandora.tv so uou'll need to register to watch stuff. The site reminds me of niconico two years ago, before they clamped down on dubs. Has a ton of everything.
There's also this, but many links are only for power members or some crap. I didn't look through most of them.

nadiatims Wrote:Why does everything dubbed into Japanese sound like it was done by the same 5 guys?I know this is my biggest problem with watching western j-dubbed movies (which I would love to do more of otherwise). I love having the huge selection of dubbed movies on long-haul flights to asia, but when I get off 4 movies later I literally feel like I've been watching the same movie over and over again for 8 hrs.
this guy has links to:
matrix
v for vendetta
wolfman
500 days of summer
(the 28 days later link is broken apparently, pity)

Star Wars:The Clone Wars
I can't get over how good that show is! The j-dub is a strong and surprisingly good fit.

I remember seeing "Boy Meets World" dubbed in Japanese while I was in Tokyo.

I just finished ripping all my dubbed movies (some 20 or so) to media files for convenience and easier access while I'm working at the computer. Now, instead of them collecting dust on a shelf I thought they could be useful to someone else, so If anyone here wants to exchange Japanese dubs of Hollywood movies (original DVDs only) just give me a shout.
