Jarvik7 Wrote:I probably wouldn't have even replied to that post if it wasn't for the tone talking down to everyone like they're idiots if they've ever checked in a suitcase (followed by a ton of "haha" and "lololol" in the replies to emphasize that tone). Some people like to travel in more comfort or leave options open for shopping etc etc.I'm sorry but please don't attribute things to my post that aren't there. My original post quoted no one, made no attacks, had no lol's or haha's at anyone's suggestions and simply provided by big tip for traveling. It is only after you replied in a manner that seemed like you took offense to anyone suggesting a superior travel method that I started deconstructing individual arguments. You seem to do this quite often but since I'm not a frequent poster I assume I come out looking like the aggressor for taking the time to respond in full. I apologize if anyone thought that, but at the same time if you are going to attempt to pick apart a post that was addressed to no one then expect the same in kind. No hard feelings though.

Your initial post started like this:
"The number 1 trip for traveling is this: If you are checking any luggage you are doing it wrong, period. "
When you start with an arrogant line like that, it's going to make people read the rest of your post as if you're talking down to everyone like idiots.

Perhaps the tone of writing needs to be better taught in schools...
I think it matters more than logic in some cases.
btw i feel stupid.
i just bought tickets to japan. i wanted to go to sapporo during christmas. roundtrip from narita/haneda is at least $600.
i still overpaid just for the tickets to tokyo, i feel, but i couldn't back out because i already agreed to visit my cousin.
on top of that i don't like tokyo. *sigh*
