I'm in Nagoya and planning to take 3 kyuu this December and cramming 4 kyuu and 3 kyuu materials. I'm skipping the 4 kyuu test itself. However, I want to drill practice tests for 4 kyuu and 3 kyuu and I'm asking for advice on which ones to buy, or if I can find any online for free. All help much appreciately.

Bonjinsha publishes official past tests of the JLPT. I'd say those are the ones to buy.

You can find them online but sound quality might not be 100%; print might not be the best either.

As the level 3 and 4 test comes in the same book for 1500 yen or so, even if you buy a few it's not going to cost the earth.
